Rise SEO is a Brisbane digital-marketing agency founded in 2019 by Mike Hall and Denuel Riondino. From an office in Brendale on Brisbane's north side, the team runs SEO, Google Ads, web design and AI-assisted marketing for small and mid-size Australian businesses, month to month, with no lock-in contracts.

Den · co-founderRise didn’t start as an SEO agency. Mike was a web designer, Den a creative graphic designer, and together they worked with small business owners across Brisbane out of a branding and printing background. The problem found them: client after client arrived already burned, paying an SEO company every month with nothing to show, no explanation, and a report that told them less than nothing.
The industry treated that as normal. So in 2019 the two of them built the agency they kept wishing existed: one that publishes its numbers, explains its work in plain English, and never asks a client to stay a month longer than the results justify.
That founding grudge still runs the place. It’s why every figure on this site names its source, why clients get logins to our own analytics platform, and why the AI we’ve since built into the operation emails its suggestions for approval instead of acting in the dark.

The idea
Mike (web design) and Den (creative design) are helping Brisbane small businesses stand out when they keep meeting the same client: burned by an SEO company, sceptical of the next one. They decide the fix is an agency built on transparency and start Rise.
The first desk
The early work lands, so Rise takes a physical office in Brendale, partly to grow the team, mostly so clients can sit across a real desk from the people doing their work.
Open to the public
With processes proven on the founding client base and results to point at, Rise opens the doors properly and starts onboarding businesses beyond word-of-mouth.
Growth
The client roster and the team both expand. The rule that got Rise here doesn’t change: every account is run by a founder-level strategist, not handed down a chain.
Recognition
Rise is named an APAC Search Awards finalist twice over: Best Small SEO Agency and Best Low-Budget Campaign, recognition across the Asia-Pacific for exactly the kind of lean, accountable work the agency was founded on.
The agentic era
Rise builds its own tools now: Mojo, an AI marketing employee that proposes work and waits for human approval; Rise Dynamic, a Next.js website product that ships 100+ page sites in about two weeks; and Ghaze, the analytics platform every client can log into.
